Header / Footer error, can't access controls for Ultimate Social Media

    Hi – I just activated and set up Ultimate Social Icons on Virtue theme, and got the standard header/footer error (below)
    … except when I go to edit header.php file, all I see is
    <?php
    /*
    Empty on purpose.
    */

    So how can fix the error? Set up a child theme just to put in those two commands? Is there any other way to fix this? I also can’t load the Ultimate Social Media Icons controls right now.

    … or is there another plugin with better icons that would work better? I’ve tried the Virtue social icons, and they look terrible on my site (cogdesign.org)- they just disappear into the background.

    Hey, sorry for the delay!
    That plugin should work fine with the theme. Do you have another plugin that could be conflicting? Have you tried deactivating?

    Hey to address this. The error is false. The theme already has those calls you don’t need to do anything.
    That plugin is just not smart enough to see it. Please ignore the error or let the plugin author know they should remove that.
