I have completed the setup for the shop but it fails to register and activity. I am told the API needs setting but it seems to have changed as per the instructional video.

    Paypal says to:
“For preconfigured shopping carts: Copy and paste the API username, password and signature into your shopping cart configuration or administration screen.”

There doesn’t seem anywhere to put this information in the configuration of the plug in?

Is it possible for WordPress Simple Paypal Shopping Cart to work with PayPal without a signature?

I have clicked the button to:
“Enable PayPal Express Checkout to accept payments from your online shops right away. You can set up API permissions or credentials later.”

The only thing that shows up in the Cart Orders are something like Order ID: #771 and they are in the bin. An email is delivered to the seller but there is no visible record on the website Cart Orders!!!!

PayPal says I have to do this:
    Here is your API signature

    API Username:xxxx_api1.xxxxxxx.uk.com

    API Password:xxxxxxxxxx

    Signature:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Copy and paste the PayPal credentials above as instructed by the application.

But there is no place to put all this into WordPress Simple Paypal Shopping Cart

You don’t need to setup API signature. You just need to enable the IPN feature.

I followed the instructions as described and found the correct place in PayPal labyrinth to turn on the IPN and add the site url.

Thank you so much that has done the trick now!

    Thanks again…
