plugin will not reorder without recreating tags

Hello,

We have the advanced post types plugin. We are running into an issue where when we posts, custom post types, categories, etc, are not being ordered until we recreate the tag or taxonomy that is being sorted on.

Example:
-We have a number of posts with tag ‘x’.
-We use advanced post types order to sort on this particular tag to put posts with that tag in a particular order.
-We save the order.
-If we refresh the page, the order in the plugin is correct.
-We then enter a post slider on a page, to show any posts with that particular tag.

The posts that are displayed are not ordered correctly.

The only way I have been able to solve this is to:
-Delete the tag/taxonomy/category that I’m sorting on
-Recreate the tag/taxonomy/category
-Retag/reassign that particular tag/taxonomy/category to the posts that we want to order.
-Set the order again with advanced post types order.

After doing this, the posts are displayed in the appropriate order.

Additional information:
-We are using the Enfold theme.

Is there something I am missing? Do tags, post types, etc, have to be “registered” with the advanced post types plugin in some way?
