Settings weirdness

The settings screen behaves a bit strangely on first visit, but is then ok on subsequent visits.

When you first go to it, the first four options are checked, the other are unchecked. If you uncheck ‘Enable permissions’ and hit save, the result is that all options are checked, so you then have to uncheck all except the first three and save again.

Subsequent changes all save correctly, so it’s only on that first save that they misbehave.
