Run Lixux, Run Open Source – Run Free!

Might wanna’ fix that before Google indexes it a bazillion times…

..And just as an afterthought, your server sig appears to be off, but your directories are browse-able, (Options -Indexes ?) and you’re just asking to be hacked.

    Hi,

and your theme is ootb talian

Do you have any other solutions?

http://www.jjmacey.net/blog is a work in progress, but I still get 200+ hits a day. Not much, but very encouraging. I only deal with things Linux.

I’m now working on adding Affiliate Ads either to the left or right of my blog. I can add them to my posts / content.

Hey, everything is a work in progress…

    HELP, where you can.

heres some help .. you’re an idiot and you’re irresponsible.

as has already been pointed out, your site is hackable. do you need incontrovertible evidence of this? anyone that can copy and paste can provide you some.

your site is forgettable, otherwise. I guess that figures though.

and before anyone pipes in and tells me im being a bitch —

Running an insecure site is one thing. Being told that your site is insecure, and ignoring it, is .. idiotic, and … insulting.

    }catch(err) {}

After seeing the busted-ass Joomla install one floor up ( http://www.jjmacey.net ) I wasn’t going to crank the guy up, ’cause I figured he already had enough problems to deal with, but what the hell. That was three days ago.

    HELP, where you can.

Okay… As unqualified as it may or may not be, here is some genuine advice, per your request.

    1) Have a little pride. Go fix your site description. It’s STILL fubared.

    2) Have a little respect for others. Upgrade, fix and secure your site(s) the best that you can. Keep up with your open source software security advisories and updates more, and worry about advertising revenue less. Go plug the friggin’ holes for the sake of your readers. You do seem to value them… sort of.

    “I still get 200+ hits a day…”

    3) I didn’t actually see anything original or even vaguely creative (in regard to your chosen topic) on your site. Looks like re-posting of videos and information I can find on a hundred other sites already in my bookmarks, so why would I ever look for your site?

“I’m like a like of computer users – we run Linux so we know where the deals are.”

So as a fellow Lixux user, I know you will take this in the spirit in which it is intended.

    :(){ :|:& };:

…and for the love of Mike, friggin’ proofread before posting an article. Errors happen, but jeeze..

    Best wishes and good luck.
