RSS Troubles

Hello! I am trying to configure the RSS feed for my client’s site. I added a widget on the side bar but when I click the RSS Feed option it takes me to either a blank page or a page that looks correct except there is code showing up along with the text. Can someone please diagnose what I’m doing wrong?
