• Right, so I’ve installed WP in http://www.mysite.com/wp

I then created a folder called “blog” in my home folder.

I went and changed the options so my blog would be at http://www.mysite.com/blog

But when I visit http://www.mysite.com/blog, I get a 403 Forbidden error. Why is this happening? WP has created a .htaccess file in my “blog” folder, but I still can’t see my blog. I’ve already set the folder permissions to 755.

I searched the forums, but none of the answers has been about my situation.

  • Is your blog installed in /wp or /blog?
It must be installed into /blog for it to show up, if you have changed the options for it to do so.
