I have reported this multiple times and I was under the impression that it was fixed. Here is the problem once more:

    1. Go to Options in Wordfence
    2. Add or subtract something from the “Immediately block IP’s that access these URLs:” field and save
    3. You will see a big block of Falcon code in the .htaccess file even though you do not have Falcon activated

I can produce this on demand, it happened just 10 minutes ago when I eliminated some URLs from that field.

Has this been marked as a problem or is it still under consideration?

Thanks for the report — we do have this in our internal system to be fixed from your previous report, but it is not yet done in the current version.

I don’t know which version the fix will be in, but you can see a list of what has been changed in the changelog when each Wordfence version is released.

Thanks for the update. I wrote because for some reason I was under the impression that it was fixed, I was giving feedback more than anything else.

Ah, ok — we probably marked another post on this topic as “resolved” once the issue was added to our internal system, which is part of our normal process, and doesn’t necessarily mean that the feature or bug has been included in a release yet. With a few of us working in the forums and the volume of new posts coming in each day, that is the only good way to keep track of which posts still need responses, or are waiting on feedback from the person who started it.

Sorry for any confusion this may cause!

No problem at all Matt. Just a misunderstanding, I am trying to keep you on your toes!! 😉

Thank you team Wordfence. I have just installed the latest version and read the new features, the fix was there. I even tested it 😉 It works!

    Thanks,
