I have a problem accessing my website since this morning. Everything was ok last night. It was suggested that I post the issue here, because it may be related to a plug-in update.

I did download the plug-in 2.6.5, but have no idea how to install it if I can’ access the admin panel for my site.

    Thank you for your help.

Website http://www.AuntMonicasAttic.com was working fine last night. This morning, it just showed up as error messages (below). I was able to fix this by deleting my browser’s cookies and cache but:

I still can not access the admin panel.
I’ve tried the usual http://www.AuntMonicasAttic.com/wp-admin and http://www.AuntMonicasAttic.com/wp-admin.php. Both attempts give me the same error below.

If I type Aunt Monica’s Attic into Google, it will find the website and open it. But I get the error message below when I try to open any of the links to other parts of the webpage.

If I type in http://www.AuntMonicasAttic.com in the url search at the top of the screen, I get the error message below.
If I click on a link to my website (i.e.: from Facebook), I get the error message below.

Warning: require(inc/class-remote-notification-client.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home3/monica/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-product-review/inc/wppr-main.php on line 434

Warning: require(inc/class-remote-notification-client.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home3/monica/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-product-review/inc/wppr-main.php on line 434

Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

    Hey,

Can you try to delete the plugin from ftp, go to the root of your wordpress, wp-content/plugins/wp-product-review and delete all the folder. After this you will be able to access the dashboard and install the plugin again.

    Thank you !

Ok, I accessed the page and got this text below.
How do I delete from this list and exactly what do I delete?

Thank you for helping me (obviously I’m a bit out of my element here).

I haven’t updated the plugin yet. I’m still on previous update 2.6.3 which is working fine on my end.

You can find the previous versions released on wordpress developer page

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-product-review/developers/

Actually, unfortunately, I just noticed the 2.6.3 is not available for download, but maybe the developers can add it for the meantime, until the next release solve the current problems.

Or eventually u can try to install another one released earlier

    Hey Andreea,

You can update to 2.6.5 without any worries. We are aware of the 2.6.4 problem and managed to release the fixed version in short time.

Let me know if you need assistance in this.

    Thank you !

    hey monicasattic,

You need to go to your server using FTP. From there you can delete the files. If you use cPanel, you can use that too.

If you like, you can email us at friends@themeisle.com and our team will be more than happy to help you solve this.

    Thank you !

My site crashed without me doing anything unusual. I didn’t update anything at all. Now I have broken pages and can not access my admin panel at all.

I understand how to access the files via FTP, but don’t know how to delete them, or which ones to delete. Honestly, I don’t understand this at all and worried that if I mess about deleting stuff, everything will be gone forever.

Since this issue just appeared out of nowhere, the next time wordpress does an update, will these problems just go away again?

    Hello,

You need to delete “WP Product Review” directory using FTP and put latest version of extracted plugin directory which you have downloaded. It will show latest version in your dashboard.

    Thank You

After finally figuring out how, I was able to log into my c-panel and delete the wp-content/plugins/wp-product-review file.
This gave me access to my admin panel again and makes my site viewable to everyone.

    Thank you for your help.
