Comment form windows on main page

I just upgraded from 1.2 to 1.5. I like the new admin section but my main page looks strange. The biggest problem is that there are comment windows everywhere. Before, articles appeared one after another and if somone wanted to comment on they could click on the article – and go to a page with that article and a comment form. Now, comment forms appear after each article on the main page. For example, I want comment forms to appear after articles on pages like this: http://www.tallone.org/?p=50
Not all over my main page: http://www.tallone.org

Hopefully there is a simple fix for this. Could someone please point it out to me? Thanks for reading.
