No, I can’t reproduce. I know there is sometimes a problem with right to left fonts. Are you using that?

First – the plugin is not broken, just one information is little hidden.
We’re not using RTL-fonts. In the dynamic widgets menu, where we choose the pages, on which the widget is shown or not, ALL pages are sorted alphabeticaly. The checkbox “and child pages” as meantiont above, is not visible.
The info button said: “Unfortunately the childs-function has been disabled because you have more than the limit of pages.(500)”
How to accelrate this limit?

Solution:
Plugins -> Dynamic Widgets (Settings) -> Advanced (at the bottom) -> alter number of pages – that’s it.

Sorry, I’ve not been able to answer questions here the last few days. Great you found it yourself already. The limit is there because of the creation of the tree which might take up too much resources.
