I see in the Documentation (item #10) that we can have slidr pull content from a particular category. That works well, but I would have to go through and assign all the additional categories to my images. My images would require multiple categories to be added per image.

However, I already have that data added via Media Tags. So rather than having to replicate all that work, would it be possible to add the option of, for example, [slidr mediatag="mediatag1"]?

    Thanks for your help!

  • Hello,

what exactly do you mean by “media tags”? WordPress’ media don’t have native support for tags. Do you mean the post tags (https://codex.wordpress.org/Posts_Tags_Screen) or do you use some other way to organize your content?

    Hi Giorgos,

Sorry, I should’ve mentioned that I’ve added Media Tags via a plugin, appropriately named: “Media Tags”.

Since it’s a 3rd party feature and not embedded in the WordPress core, I ‘m afraid that I can’t do much.

For me, the easiest way to organize a collection of photos is by enabling the “galery mode” in Slidr’s options. Then, I just go and create a typical WordPress Gallery in a post or page, and I drop there all the images, rearrange them, adding captions etc.

I understand. Thanks for taking the time to reply!
