3.1.6 update notes

    The latest version, 3.1.6 has a few significant changes:

    • auto updates are enabled again by default
    • the “lite” version of the browscap database is being used by default
    • several new filters are available if you want to change these settings

      • Please report any issues. Thanks. Pull requests are also welcome on the GitHub project.

    The new filters are:

    php_browser_detection_cache_dir, the cache folder location
    php_browser_detection_autoupdate, Boolean, whether or not to autoupdate
    php_browser_detection_cache_time, cache time in seconds, default 30 days
    php_browser_detection_version, URL to the browscap DB to use, default is “http://browscap.org/stream?q=Lite_PHP_BrowsCapINI”
