Add button to the excerpt

I’ve installed the official Twitter plugin to replace the outdated (and now broken) WP Tweet Button plugin.

I have the Tweet button appearing at the top of each article’s page, below the title, as seen here: http://blog.schertz.name/2015/06/sfb2015deploy2

But I do not see how I can get the button to appear on my main page in each article’s excerpt? http://blog.schertz.name

I’m trying to get the vertical stacked button/count appearance that I had with the previous plugin to display to the right of each excerpt.
