Does not work with Newsletter Manager ??

    URE does not seem to do anything at all for allowing access to the plugin Newsletter Manager

    I want to enable an Author level to use the Newsletter plugin
    I installed URE, activated it, and went to the URE menu.
    I chose Author for the user level type to edit.
    I see the Core Capabilities list of boxes.

    Below that, I see Custom Capabilities check boxes. Some of them indicate they are for Newsletter Manager as they show as “Delete Newsletter”, “Edit Newsletters”, “Publish Newsletters” and other such settings. But even though I put check marks in those boxes and click the Update button, and Confirm the updates, a user with Author access logging in does not see the Newsletters item on the left menu.

    It will be easier to help, if you include direct download link to the plugin you write about.

    If you write about this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/newsletter-manager/
    then it does not use any custom user capability. All its menu items are protected with the only built-in WordPress user capability ‘manage_options’.

    Custom capabilities with ‘newsletter’ inside the name may be left some other related plugin you tested at the same site.

    Yes that is the plugin we were trying to make URE work with.
