    Thanks for making this plug-in.

    I realized that wordpress jammed yet ANOTHER js and css on EVERY page of my website without having been given the option to add/remove it. Also, in discussions asking why it was added WordPress developers have been quite sassy and defensive about the addition. In fact, they ignored the feedback and jammed this unwanted script in the 4.3 update as well.

    I don’t want to deal with the drama, I just want my site to load faster and the ability to choose my own bells and whistles.

    Yes. I agree 😉 And it seems that we aren’t the only ones.

    I don’t think these files will be removed any time soon though. I think that will need to wait until all browsers have native support for Emoji built in.
