    Greetings

    When I activate this slider plug-in on my site, the header loses its settings and the page has issues loading.

    I contacted the plug-in owner but yet to receive a reply. Is the Kadence team able to assist to find out why this happens?

    Many thanks
    Ian

    You will see the shortcode on the page but I have deactivated the plug – in for the time being.

    Hey Hannah

    My apologies, the wrong web site.

    Here is the correct one

    Part of the issue is how many products I want the slider to show. I reduced the number so it loads quite fast now. However the plug-in is still interfering with the header.

    The header has a black background and that is not showing up and it is shifting the header down slightly as well.

    Hmm. Try adding this to your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings:

    .grid figcaption {
        height: 140px !important;
    }

    Hope it helps!

    Hey Hannah

    Thanks for the css but still no background. 🙁

    I’m not seeing the code in your css. Did you add it? Did you also try clearing your cache?

    Hey Hannah

    I removed the css. Put it back for you and yes to the other question I did clear the cache.

    OK sorry, I think i misunderstood what you were after. Try adding this css:

    .container > header {
        background: #000;
    }

    Is that what you mean?

    Hey Hannah

    Background is back thanks but the issue is it has altered the way the header appears.

    Secondary menu does not go all the way across and there is a large gap now at the top whereas there used to be none.

    Compare Nwaynews to nzwholesale and you will see the differences.

    Many thanks

    Hey Hannah

    The owners of the plug-in have fixed the issue. I will find out what they did as I wish to use this slider on my other site as well.

    I really appreciate your assistance.

    Many thanks
