• Hi, I am receiving the following error:

Error type: “Bad Request”. Error message: “Invalid channel.” Domain: “youtube.search”. Reason: “invalidChannelId”. Location type: “parameter”. Location: “channelId”.

Did you added your own Google API key? Look at the help.

Check in YouTube if the id Vw7zuFmxy9qfHYcRSJ_BVw belongs to a username. Check the FAQ of the plugin or send error messages to support.

Here is the page where I’m receiving the error:
    http://tinyurl.com/qyxab5s

and here is the specific shortcode i’m using on the page:

    [Youtube_Channel_Gallery user="Vw7zuFmxy9qfHYcRSJ_BVw" key="AIzaSyBuoMZ9AcY6JDrt5IW8cg6g0xOelZFg6_Q" maxitems="16" thumb_columns_tablets="4" title="1"]

Here is my YouTube account information as found in youtube.com/account_advanced:

    Finally, here is my API:
    http://i58.tinypic.com/30svxgo.png

Unfortunately I also receive the same error when trying the widget version of the plugin.

Of note, when I try the ID name as “youtube”, it shows video results correctly, so I don’t think it’s an issue with my API – definitely seems like an issue with the user or channel ID.

Any idea what’s wrong? I am baffled. Thanks

@dontwakeme have you found a solution yet?

    @silico26

Unfortunatley not. As I manage the channel that I want to embed on youtube i created a playlist with all the videos and inserted this via the youtube playlist embed function. It is not as nice as before but as this plugin does not seem to work anymore it was the easiest solution.

bummer. i think i’m going to try this plugin for youtube:

    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/youtube-embed-plus

seems to be pretty well supported.

The plugin you mentioned is looking good on first sight. I might give it a try too! Thx for sharing!

I got the same error too 🙁

    Hi silico26

You did not put the correct channel id and your channel not has any video. Your correct shortcode is:

    [Youtube_Channel_Gallery identify_by=”channelid” user=”UCVw7zuFmxy9qfHYcRSJ_BVw” key=”AIzaSyBuoMZ9AcY6JDrt5IW8cg6g0xOelZFg6_Q” maxitems=”16″ thumb_columns_tablets=”4″ title=”1″]

    Hey,

got the same error, this is really frustrating.
    Can you please help?

    here’s my code:

    [Youtube_Channel_Gallery feed=”user” user=”Museosportspezia” feedorder=”asc” videowidth=”500″ ratio=”16×9″ theme=”light” color=”white” quality=”small” autoplay=”1″ rel=”1″ showinfo=”1″ maxitems=”1000″ thumbwidth=”150″ thumbratio=”16×9″ thumbcolumns=”3″ title=”1″ description=”0″ date=”1″ thumbnail_alignment=”center” descriptionwordsnumber=”10″ link_window=”0″ key=”AIzaSyDs3RPQeZuUFvO8KwuGz_jtKl8ot62XEIM”]

    Thank you
