Try disabling gzip in the Automatic Group on the Basic Options tab. You probably have some directive in your htaccess to gzip your site but maybe you should add an exclusion to files that are already gzipped.

It was disabled. I tried enabling and it didn’t fix it, so I put it back to disable.

Hmm. I would need to check this on your site unfortunately. Is it possible to provide site access? Send an email to [ redacted, support is not offered via email, Skype, IM etc. only in the forums ] and I’ll give you access to the ticket system so you can submit a ticket with admin access and I’ll check it for you.

Sure – I just sent you login info and I will send an email to info.

I really need to make a form letter for this.

@codealfa please do not ask for login credentials under any circumstances.

I know you are trying to help your user and I do appreciate that. Honest.

But asking to login into a user’s site goes too far and no author should request that. You can look, ask, ask for log data and make recommendations. But don’t log in as an admin user, that goes too far and is not appropriate. That is something that is actively discouraged.

but when I checked the site the front end was totally broken.

Are you getting error messages? Have you tried the usual troubleshooting steps such as switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme and deactivating all other plugins?

Thanks or your concern! But, these people have a great plugin and if they can fix this issue that would be great. 2) this is a test site that they are welcomed to play with to try and work out the kinks 3) I need this to work with this theme – not twenty-whatever since I am using this theme with numerous clients. 4) it isn’t uncommon for plugin developers to sign in and work out issues.

Once again thanks for your intentions – but I am thankful for their help. This is a major issue with wordpress and google is starting to send out emails on it.

I’m glad you are glad. 😉 But still, authors mustn’t ask for that access.

    Hi,

If you put a theme of WordPress, is the problem?
From what you’ve tutorial create your child theme?
Style.css should be added and changed the codes, especially not the entire style.css of the parent theme.
You have the latest version of the theme Headway?

    Genesis is not better?
