No need to update until 4.3 is out, which should be released any day now.

It’s either wait until 4.3 is out, break stuff, then release, or release early, where users are given the option to not upgrade.

The update does indeed work with 4.2, but it’s not 100%.

    Hope this helps.

The 4.3 release (upcoming) broke multisite functionality in a few places, so we had to use 4.3 as a minimum version.

We’d rather release early, as we have already received a one-star review based on an unreleased version of WordPress.

Yeah no worries, that makes complete sense and I commend you for being so up to date that your releases are actually early. 🙂

I suppose the main reason it stumped me was because I was looking to install this on a new site, as opposed to upgrading an existing install of the plugin.

Thanks for your attention to detail and a great plugin! 🙂

Yah, that’s kinda odd. WordPress should let you install the version that’s compatible.

Thank you for the kind words.

Just to add if you do want to download Easy Updates Manager so that you can use it on a non 4.3 install you can download it and past versions in the developers tab.
