Intermittent Item Name and Partial Name Failure in Cart

Using the simple cart and when items from the Shop page are added to cart, sometimes they work normally, sometimes they get added twice after just one click. Other times they are not added at all. Then some other times only the first part of the name with ” before it is added to the cart. E.g. If the item was called New Album… In the cart you would see “New where the title should be. Very weird and very inconsistent. Any help would be great! Please…

Hi do you have a cache plugin? If you do have a cache plugin did you configure the cache plugin to exclude the shopping cart pages or post?

Hey Mbrsolution. I did have super cache but I read an article that it may have been part of the problem, so I deactivated it.

Do you still have the plugin installed but not active? Did you delete the cache?

Cache has been deleted and cleared.

Did you also delete the browser cache? Did you check in different browsers?

You can check on the background it will not affect the front end.

Did you enable Debug mode and check the log file?

Can you also carry out another test. This time create another post but don’t publish the post. Can you add one of the items that is displaying incorrectly? See if the item is displayed correctly.

All sorted. Removed the caching plugin altogether! Thanks for all the help.
