Location with ZIP code doesn't work

Either the zipcode exist in another country, and Google assumes you are searching in the wrong country or Google simply doesn’t recognize the zipcode.

If it’s the first problem then you can fix it by going to the settings page and set the map region to the correct county.

You can check if Geocode API recognizes your zip with this url https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/geocode/json?address=4401AB&sensor=false, replace the 4401AB with your zip and load it in your browser.
