Now the episodes do appear, but they do not play.
And now, I notice in the feed, that the links are changed:
http://www.proconstructionguide.com/podcast-download/15188/episode-1-introductions.mp3
This episode lives at: http://www.proconstructionguide.com/001-introductions which is how I entered it in the URL field when creating the post.
Going direct to this link:www.proconstructionguide.com/podcast-download/15188/episode-1-introductions.mp3 ends up in a redirect loop.
We’re having the same issue. For example:
On the back end the Audio File and Enclosure URL references point to: http://hinsdale.church/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/sunday-sermon-august-16-2015.mp3
BUT, when viewed on the front end the URL is changed to http://hinsdale.church/podcast-download/15963/sunday-sermon-august-16-2015.mp3 and leads to no where.
I’ve tried changing/updating the Permalinks like the documentation suggests but that didn’t fix the issue.
Help!
The URL for the episodes are masked for reason that I have exlained numerous times elsewhere. If they are not playing for you then it is almost always a caching problem as explained here: http://www.seriouslysimplepodcasting.com/documentation/why-wont-my-episodes-play-in-itunes-or-elsewhere/
I tried that and it wasn’t it. The issue ended up being how my host (FlyWheel) was handing specific types of nginx requests. They were able to change how their hosting works and the issue was fixed.
