    I had 23 hits from free-social-buttons.com aprox. after 30 min after installing this module.

    Valy,

    free-social-buttons.com is a “ghost referral”. We include it in case they ever send standard spam referrals, but the only way to stop them is via filters in Google Analytics. Because they never actually visit your site, no plugin (including this one) can block them.

    That said, the combination of a solid hostname Filter in Google Analytics along with this plugin should stop everything. Here is how to set up the Filter:
