    Hi Guys,

I made some edits to our site page a couple of weeks ago in Google Chrome, as I always have. The edits showed up on the live page in Chrome right away.

My coworker was looking at the site today in Internet Explorer, and none of the edits I made were showing up. I pulled it up on Firefox, and there was no change there either.

I am somewhat competent, I think?, with editing pages, and have done it many times before, and never had this problem.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in Advance

  • That sounds like a caching issue. Try clearing your browser cache in those browsers, and if you have a caching plugin installed on the site, clear the cache there as well.

    Thanks so much, Matt.

I am fairly new, and have been learning by doing while we are in-between web people. I just want to make sure I am doing this right:

To clear the cache, I click WP Super Cache from the left widget, and click delete cached pages?

Thanks. Sorry if this is an easy question.

Yep, that should do it. Sometimes Super Cache includes a “Delete Cache” button in the admin bar (at the top) as well. Either way, that should work.

Thanks so much, Matt! That worked!! Is there a reason why the cache is not automatically emptied?

    Thanks so much!!

    Excellent, I’m glad that worked!

I believe there’s a way you can set the intervals at which the cache is automatically cleared in WP Super Cache in the “Advanced” tab of the plugin, but in my experience the default interval usually works fine.
