I have been having such problems with logging in/registering to my site.

There is two plugins conflicting with each other and I wonder if anyone can help me in this, since first plugin creator doesnt provide any support at all, and second says it’s the other plugins fault and I should contact them. Yay! I’m stuck in between…!

Now I know the plugin I am using for signup/register (called “Userpro”) is interfering with the “Cooked”-plugin, a plugin used to submit front end recipes.

Since “Cooked” also have an option to login/register, the plugin interferes with the other login that “Userpro” takes care of.

When I activate the Cooked-plugin, there is an error telling me ive “an unexpected token <” when logging in. Whenever I deactivate the plugin this disappears.

I am not sure if anyone can help me with this, but here is my question:

As I want to use the Userpro plugin for login/register, is there ‘manually’ a way I can deactivate the login/register option on the cooked plugin?

Meaning: can I like… add a custom css, change some .php or delete any files that takes away the option to register/login with Cooked-plugin and therefor won’t mess things up when users logging in…?

Sorry if I complicate things instead of simply changing plugins – but my budget is very tight on this project and I already paid for it… Hope you understand.

    Thanks in advance,

    – M

UserPro is the one that doesn’t offer support? That seems odd, considering “DeluxeThemes supports this item” and “This author will respond to buyers’ questions and provides limited support through their own support system.”

And as for Cooked, “BoxyStudio supports this item” and “This author will respond to buyers’ questions and provides limited support through their own support system.”

Essentially, support is part of the sales pitch for both plugins.

Which one wasn’t offering support to you?

Sure I’m just writing here to waste everyone’s time, including my own

    I never said that.

Anyone else has the knowledge on how to disable login/register for a plugin – or is this something unique for each plugin?

I wrote here as my “last hope” and because I’m obviously not that high tech and familiar with coding…

To James: ‘Cooked’ did not. But since English isn’t my native language perhaps “offer” was a bad choice of word. I’ve submited my request and I’ve no answer since. “Userpro” tells its user (me) I should deactivate the conflicting plugin or contact creator of conflicting plugin. Since I got no answer yet, and since I’m running out of time I put up the question here on WordPress. If I violated any rules I’ll close the topic.

    Thanks for clarifying.

You haven’t violated any rules, it would just be better if Cooked could help you via their support channel https://boxystudio.ticksy.com/ for two reasons:

    1. Someone would have to either be currently using the plugin or buy it themselves to help you here.

    2. They are selling the plugin with support included.

It’s fine to ask for support here if the developers aren’t offering you any of the support you paid for, but you should also lodge a complaint with Envato while you wait: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Perhaps even request a refund: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202821460-Can-I-Get-A-Refund-

I’m sorry I can’t be of more help myself.

    I see,

Thank you a lot James for sorting it out for me. I will try contacting them again, at least now I know it’s the only way.

    Thank you for your time,

    You’re welcome!

It’s not the only way, just the best one. If anyone who’s used the plugin has any ideas here, I’m sure they’ll share them.
