Support » Plugin: WP-dTree » Links prepending with name of site

Downloaded latest version. Using the d-tree links widget. When I add this widget to my sidebar, expand the tree and click on a link, some of the links that open in the new window are prepended with the name of the site as well as the URL in the link. For example if I click on the link with URL of /https://XX.XX.XXX.XX:8888/ROME/Login?action=login it opens as http://blogbox.?????.com/????????????/https://XX.XX.XXXX.XX:8888/ROME/Login?action=login

What is causing the extra information to be populated before the link URL. If I use WP Link Manager widget this does not happen.

This behavior is only happening on links that are have a secure connection (https) and is not happening to links that are do not have a secure connection (http). Is this normal the expected behavior?

Does anyone else have this problem?

It’s happening with my site as well. I’ve noticed that links using the standard Links widget work properly. But I prefer the tree organization with WP-dTree.

Did you manage to work around this?

Consider this a confirmed bug. I’ll sort it out with the next release.
