    Hi all,

I want the breadcrumbs to get the same layer as I have in the URL.

For example, on my website if I access:

    1. http://website.ro/products/ my breadcrumbs becomes Home – Products (which is right)

    2. http://website.ro/products/category/ it becomes Home – Products – Category (which is also right)

    3. http://website.ro/products/category/product-name/ it becomes Home – Product-name (which is WRONG)

Do you have any idea why in the third step it not becomes Home – Products – Category – Product-name ? Can I achieve this with WooCommerce Breadcrumbs plugin ?

    – I have WooCommerce plugin activated.
    – I’ve already installed the WooCommerce Breadcrumbs plugin and activated it, also.
    – I have enabled the Breadcrumbs from Dashboard – Settings – WC Breadcrumbs.

But I don’t know how to set it up.

If i try to disable (uncheck the “Enable breadcrumbs” option), the breadcrumbs remain the same on my website. Seems like this plugin can’t change or disable breadcrumbs.

    Thank you in advance.

    C. Silviu

    Hi,

Can you provide a link to your site please.

My WooCommerce Breadcrumbs plugin can only change the html that wraps the breadcrumbs. As you would’ve seen in the options panel, it allows you to change the opening and closing html tags before/after all the breadcrumbs and the the opening and closing html tags before/after each individual breadcrumb. It wont change allow you to change the actual breadcrumb contents.

In other words, it simply allows you to change the html so as to provide you some more flexibility for styling.

Also, It will only work if your theme is actually using the WooCommerce Breadcrumbs. Some themes have coded their own breadcrumbs, which means that this plugin wont have any effect.

If you can provide your URL I can see if your site is using the WooCommerce breadcrumbs. Even if it is though, it wont allow you to change what is actually displayed in the breadcrumbs. That’s handled by WooCommerce itself.
