Id like to have a new page created, but with a 2 column or 3 column layout for images. Im new to wordpress and am not sure how to do it. Any help?

You can assign a specific stylesheet to a Page (I assume you are talking about individual Pages and not general posts…are you?) and have it be anything you want. Creating individual Pages should help you. Some other sites that might also help are:
