    Hi Ashley,

I was afraid you might have abandoned this great product! I made a small donation btw and hope you’ll come out with a PRO version!

Hitting 2 odd problems that I can not duplicate, but customers are complaining about – and once in awhile i can duplicate it temporarily.

When clicking on the download link it works for most users, perhaps 90% of the time. But in the last few months 2 problems

    1 – 404 Page Not Found
2 – the user is returned to the login page (even though they are logged in)

I’ve walked through the scenario with 2 users this last week over the phone, verified they are logged in and have permissions (couldn’t reach the download page otherwise)…

So far no clue what might be causing this. Any thoughts to investigate appreciated. If i can get it working ASAP reliably, I’ll have to find another solution.

other notes: using Wishlist Member plugin
The membership site is in a folder from the root site…

    http://mainsite.com
http://mainsite.com/members <- page where the downloads fail 10% of time?

Any suggestions about how to debug is appreciated.

I love your plugin and hope to be able to keep using it!

    Thank you,

    Peace!~

  • I am getting the 404 page not found but only in Internet Explorer and Firefox. In Chrome, it works fine. Tried changing the permalink setting in case it was having trouble dealing with the ?ddownload=2280 but that didn’t help.

    The page is http://www.kidschance.org/kidschanceawarenessweek/

Just noticed the min WP version for this is 4.2.2. This client hasn’t updated their WP install to that version yet. I’m trying to get permission to do the update but that might be the issue.

@peacesong Would it be possible to get a login so that I can attempt to track down the issue? If so, please send details to hello[ at ]ashleyrich.com

Thank you for checking back in. I got permission to update the WP core and the plugin is now working fine in all the browsers I tested.
