Email issues

Hello,

My wordpress site was working and I was able to receive emails through my contact form 7 plugin but all of the sudden I do not receive the emails anymore (but it says they sent). After looking at the plugin’s support I read that if you go to your admin login and click forgot password and you dont receive an email than it has something to do with your hosting service. When i go and try to click the forgot password it doesnt even give me the option of typing in an email, it takes me to my websites home page. If anyone knows what could be causing this it would be a huge help. I’m writing back and forth with my hosting provider but so far no luck in a solution.
