My site containts about 3000 files
1000 of 3000 are WP-Statistics plugin’s files

It’s really hard to update WP-Statistics to new version on not power-full servers

WP Statistics does have a lot of files, the next release will be reducing that somewhat but it is still a complex piece of software.
