domain name transfer still has old name in dashboard

    I have trasnferred a new domain name to my site and although the main change has taken place fine when i am in the wordpress dashboard it still has the only domain name and when you go on the site itself it has the new domain name but with the old ‘about’ bit in italics – how can I change both of these?

    I think Site Title and Tagline are your concerns here, and those can be changed at Dashboard > Settings > General.

    note: Do *not* change anything in the ‘WordPress Address (URL)’ and ‘Site Address (URL)’ boxes. Those are only for telling your database what to expect coming in and what to use for telling WordPress how to find your installation.
