Twenty Twelve – Disable click on main navigation bar with dorpdowns

Greetings,

I am using the Twenty Twelve theme with a child theme along with Chrome tools in viewing the code.
I have a website at http://e44.763.myftpupload.com/
I would like to have the menu item in the navigation bar that has drop down menus to not be clickable itself.

In other words, when you mouse over attorneys the word attorneys is not clickable, but the drop down choices are.

For future use, it would be nice to not only eliminate it, but possible have the ability to just eliminate it on certain navigation items.

I would really appreciate help with this. Thanks.
