I find myself using Wordfence’s Live Traffic tool a lot. Is there a way to increase the data table sizes or period of these reports?

I would like to be able to see top referrers, too as a report.

I would like to be able to download the traffic outputs so I can build my own data of traffic for all time.

Is this tool enhanced in any meaninglful way with a premium license?

  • Hi,

I’ll pass your suggestions along. Currently, there is not a way to output traffic, adjust the size of the tables, or the time period. Due to the live nature of Live Traffic, the logs would get very large if we kept more data. Right now it’s a tradeoff to keep performance on the site up and the table size small.

    Thanks,

So there is no difference in the paid version and free one in this respect?

I run a low traffic site and can follow my hits for interested prospects and to weed out low level attacks.

For some reason, for instance there are a lot of attempts to enter the site via profile edit pages. I imagine that’s fairly normal for everyone but it’s good for me to understand. I find live traffic very useful.

Live Traffic is the same in both versions. You can see the added features in Premium here (scroll down):

Do you have Google Analytics added to your site? That would help keep track of traffic.

I do but it’s not as detailed as Live Traffic. For me live traffic is much better. Even if you could just get the data in chunks you could build up quite a history and track.

Analytic s has changed a lot since I first used it for monitoring my site. It’s full of crap and does not give me exact IPs, etc. I really stopped using it much when Google allowed “not set” for locations, etc.

When ‘live traffic’ is turned off is there a way to access all IP hits history for the previous 24 hours or longer, since with it off the only hits that show up are logins and blocked hits?
    Thanks
