    Do you know if it’s related to that other plugin (i.e. if you disable it does the editor button re-appear)? Otherwise there’s a general issue, that I haven’t got to the bottom of, where some people don’t get the button. Without someone giving me access to their back-end, though, I’m no sure how I can work out the issue (it works for me!).

    well actually, if i got edit a post via back end, its there, it works.. but I don’t allow users in the backend, so I installed the front-end publishing plugin, which shows an editor, but it the youtube button doesn’t show there. So I’m hoping you knew how to add it to that plugin.

    It sounds like they use their own editor or another version of the WP built in one – my plugin hooks into the standard editor which is why it’s probably not appearing. I’ll add it to my list to look at this plugin and see if it’s an easy change but I can’t make any promises 🙂
