When attempting to target to a specific tab on a page, you would normally do the target=specific-tab. I have a menu item/tab that has an & in the name of the tab. For example, the tab/custom menu link is Ham & Cheese.
I set the target to: target=ham-&-cheese but this doesn’t work. Does Tabby do something with the ampersand?

Try it without the ampersand, ie:

    http://yoursite.com/sandwiches/?target=ham-cheese

The ampersand cannot be used as it would be seen by the browser as denoting the start of the next field/value pair in the query string.
