Before you place the widgets, you’ll need to configure the theme properly (create a static front page, adjust settings under “Settings => Reading”, etc…). Here you can find more information: Documentation MH Magazine lite.
I created a static front page in setting put widget wont show-up

in addition to just creating the static front page, you’ll need to ensure that you assign the widgetized “Homepage” template to your static front page because this is required to make the widgets on the front page visible. See: How to set a Static Front Page in WordPress.
