Is it me or does this template need more work

I recently built 2 web sites using customizr, the demo’s looked great and when viewd on a phone. so I got 5 licences.
I must point out I am new to wordpress so this could be my error.

My sites look good on a computer but when viewed on a tablet or phone everything has a mind of it’s own, side bars go on top of images and my home page looks really un professional.

I really wish this theme could be non responsive or have the option without putting CSS code in which I have no knowledge.

I would really like to get to the bottom of this, so any help would be appreciated.
