mark search string in search result does not work anymore

    Plugin v3.3.7.1
    Highlight Setting: <mark>, text and background color and css style is set. css class ist empty.
    Problem: The search string in the search result (in titles and contents until more-tag) ist not being capsuled in <mark> </mark>
    (Non-ASCII-Option on/off has no effect.)

    Sounds like your search results template is not showing Relevanssi-generated excerpts. In order to see the highlights, make sure Relevanssi is set to create custom snippets and that your search results template is using the_excerpt() and not the_content() to show the excerpts.

    In order to see highlights in the titles, you need to use relevanssi_the_title() instead of the_title().

    Mikko, what about highlighting templates that are based on more quicktag? Any pre-built code available to handle that?
