    Hello,

I have a similar problem to one that was described by another user a little while ago: the captcha is always incorrect.

I have 13 people registered for an event, and the registration process suddenly stopped working.

We don’t use a caching plug-in, like WP Super Cache, and I get a new captcha at each page refresh.

I’ve turned off the captcha for now, but I’d like to still find out what it wasn’t working.

Also, I think the plug-in’s website needs to be updated to make it clearer how to do it.

Any suggestions to the doc are appreciated …
Why it wasn’t working? No idea, it only doesn’t work if something is wrong with your php sessions, so you should start investigating there.

This issue isn’t resolved — why did you mark it “resolved”?

Anyway, it’s not really helpful to indicate “something is wrong with your PHP” and not give a hint as to what else might be wrong. Not every person who’ll contact you will have access to their server, or even know how to fix their PHP sessions. I don’t. Your reply isn’t helpful.

I explained that the captcha uses sessions. And the only possible reason if it doesn’t work and you have no troublesome plugins, is that php sessions are not working.
Since php sessions are handled on your webserver, nothing more can be done here by me. Not all php or webserver problems can be solved by me, certainly if the only info you give is “it suddenly stopped working” (meaning that it did work before, so something has changed on your side causing it no longer to work).
