error in config trying to set the language to Australiain English

    I have downloaded and installed the latest version of wordpress (4.2.2) onto my hosting environment.

    When I go to configure wordpress and begin the set up, I cannot change the language to English- Australian.

    I get the following message
    Warning touch() Unable to create file/tm/en_AU.tmp because NO such file or directory in home/site/public.jtml/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 164.

    How is this possible?
