the last version of slimstat caused an impressive load of the cpu, than I deactivated slimstat renaming its folder under wp-content/plugins. I’m wondering if anyone else have the same issue and, if yes, if there is a remediation.

The php version is 5.4.11, the mysql version is 5.5.29 .

    Hi,

Could you force a re-update of Slimstat? Go to Plugins > Editor, select Slimstat from the dropdown and change the version number from 4.1.6 to 4.1.5.3. Then update Slimstat when you get the notification, and see if things get better.

    Thanks,
    Camu

Also, if that doesn’t help, please change the Max Results limit in Settings > Reports to something smaller ( 1000 ? ) and see if that solves the problem. We introduced this new setting to allow users with less server horsepower to fine tune the plugin’s behavior and avoid that the SQL queries become too “intensive” for their low end environment.

    Best,

    Hi,

The preceding available version of Slimstat is the 4.1.5.2 that I downloaded from here https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugi/wp-slimstat.4.1.5.2.zip .

Unfortunately the problem remains, after the installation of the plugin, I logout than I re-login, during the login the cpu goes to 100% and the browser crashes.

Maybe the plugin is conflicting with something else, I’ve an AWS M1 large, so I don’t think is the server.

These are my plugins (except slimstat):

Did you try changing that limit value to 1000?

    Plugin Author Jason Crouse

    (@coolmann)

We are setting that value to 1000 by default, in the next update. Also, we are working on some query optimizations that will use less PHP memory, thus making the reporting API less resource intensive.

Yes I tried to limit that value, but I have the same result 🙁

Things might get better with version 4.1.6.1, which we are releasing in a few days.
