    Zerif Lite 1.8.2.2

Still having the same issue after upgrading. When I visit the website in a browser, the default page is the “Home” Page, not the theme’s customization that should have the Big Title section under the menu.
In the Dashboard however, when I click on Customize, I am getting the Big Title section.
When I select ‘Static Front Page’ under customize, I switched to “A static page” in which case it shows the Home page. I switch back to “Your latest posts” and I see the Big Title section. I choose “Save & Publish” at the top of the customize Dashboard.
I reload the site in a different browser, and still get the Home page, and not the Big Title section as intended.
Also, when I click on “Blog” in the menu, I get an empty blog page, not the list of posts as intended. In the Dashboard, if I click on Page -> All Pages -> Blog it says “Posts Page” as expected. Dashboard -> Settings -> Reading shows “Your latest posts” as expected.

It seems to serve the theme properly if using SSL but not http; with the caveat that in Chrome the user will not get any CSS as the theme is sending the content in plain text.

It does not appear that you can have a blog page in your menu (with all of your posts) and the customized front page with this theme without editing the theme. Instead, you must choose one or the other.

    Hi,

    1. First to setup homepage, please navigate to Settings > Reading settings, and select “Your latest posts” option

    2. For the blog page, create a new Page, and pick “Blog page template” from the Page Templates metabox.

    Hope this helps. 🙂

    Regards,
    Hardeep
