• Hi,

I’m using the Boutique theme in storefront. My site is http://www.entap.co.za

I changed the position of the cart and the nav menu so they would be next to the logo.

However what I would describe as the event listener for the cart, is still in the original old position.

Hopefully this image demonstrates what I mean: http://snag.gy/lq2nP.jpg
So when you move the mouse over ul.site-header-cart.menu it will display the cart-contents. But as you can see, this element is not where it should be. Ideally it should be in the same position as the cart contents and cart icon.

    Please help.

    Best regards

  • Hi,

Doesn’t look like you’re using the Boutique theme, FYI.

Could you share a link to a product where this happens, because it seems to be fine just now for me.

    Hi,

    http://www.entap.co.za/shop/extra-back-support-cushion/
Please go there, select an option and add to cart.

You should see what I mean when you move the cursor around the area of the cart.

    Best regards

I think this might be due to the menu plugin you’re using. Try deactivating that to see if it is the conflict.

I’m afraid the problem still persists when I deactivated the menu plugin

I think it’s because of all the negative margins you’ve applied. Get rid of those (and your other modifications) and just have one on the .woocommerce-active .site-header .site-header-cart selector. That will move the entire menu up.

Remember to wrap that in a media query so that it only affects desktop orientation as well.

FYI the Storefront Designer extension has header layout options built in that would allow you to achieve this without touching any code.

    Cheers
