  • No, the WordPress update shouldn’t affect the CSS.

Have you tried manually clearing/refreshing your browser cache?
Have you tried deactivating ALL plugins and switching to the default 2015 theme (just for testing) to see if the issue persists?

Yes, I’ve cleared cache but no change.

In regards to the plugins, the issue occurred directly after updating to the latest WordPress. No other plugins had been installed when the error occured.

I understand. But maybe something changed in WordPress core that one of your plugins have not adapted to, yet. Happens all the time…

In order to determine if it is indeed a WordPress core issue, you’d need to deactivate all plugins and switch to the default 2015 theme anyway.

Do this, then manually clear your browser cache. Now, see if the issue persists.

Hmm, when i deactivated our Better Backgrounds plugin, the whole site went white. Could it be an error with this plugin?
