Attachments uploaded – but not delivered

Did everything according to guide –
Have limited filesize to 20000000 and to *.jpg, *.pdf
(also triued without the * and without the *. but to no avail)
Field for attaching appears in form
Upon sending the “turning arrow” turns longer indicating that it actually is uploading
Mail is being received as expected but without attachment
(file sizes I did keep below the above mentioned size, actually I did only send small thumbnail pics for testing)
Also installed Flamingo – can see there that mail was sent with attachment (incl. filename) but still no attachment there.
Also checked “media-folder” in WP but it is not there either.
So? What do I do now?
