Hey all, ever since WordPress 4 came along I have had difficulties embedding my YouTube videos in my posts. I used to go to the add media section of my attachments in my posts menus and paste the URLs for YouTube videos in to add media sections and then embed.

Then WP changed it again saying that I have to copy embed code from the YouTube video’s frame and then paste it in the section to add media. Now ever since 4 came around I have to paste the link to the YouTube video on a separate line which works but I can’t resize it manually to fit in a certain space in the new post section. I can’t do a thing with my videos if i cant resize them.

I just want to be able to manipulate my videos manually but if I cant have control over my videos settings and resizing them I cant get to launch my new blog which I have decided to make YouTube to be the center of then what’s the point? I plan to make a blog based on reviewing YouTube clips, viral and otherwise. I have Jetpack plugin if it helps. How do I add my videos to a post with the use of a plugin or Jetpack or otherwise.

I prefer how it was in the old days when you just needed to copy embed code. Can someone please help me? I have been struggling with this issue for months and I have Googled everything. Someone provide details as to how to help me. I am an experienced WP user but assume I am an amateur so things will go more smoothly in your response to this issue.
