• There is the “Compress All Images” function. Using it the same images get compressed over and over again. The counter goes up for images already being compressed. This doesn’t make much sense to me. Does the image quality degrade when using compression again on an already compressed image? I have 9 images on a new website. Count of compressions is 78 by now.

Looking at the media library for some of them only 4 of 5 sizes get compressed. The “Compress” button remains. Clicking it doesn’t have any effect.

Clicking on “Compress All Images” counts up and up on the same 9 images. Am I missing something?

    Thanks for any hint!

  • Hello Sixtus78. How do you expect us to make any money if we don’t get the image count over 500 and how do you expect us to do that unless just keep on compressing your images, already compressed or not.

Seriously, I’m justing going of on a little LOL here. I can’t find the compress all feature. Has it been removed? I was looking for it and is why I ended up here.

OK, found it. It appears that it was moved to the list of actions in the media library. I can select a group of images, choose “Compress Images” and click Apply.
