issue witht he path in basic configuration

    Hello,

    I have installed the latest, on wp 4.2.2
    My WP is installed in /var/www/html folder.
    However, the Base Directory is populated with /www/html/

    This does not change regardless which option of two for Set Root Directory I use.

    I did created sub directory under /var/www/html from where I would like to share the files but I guess no shortcode can be made until the correct path is set.

    Please advise.

    Have you tried using a shortcode yet? I only display the part of the path after either public_html or www.

    I did not know that full path is not displayed.
    Also I could not get to generate short code as created folder will not show up.
    But that is working now.

    Thanks for help.

    Now I need to find out what shortcode is for upload and start filing files away.
